Crystal I. Berger is a communications professional with extensive experience across consumer industries, media, sports, and non-profits. Crystal began her career in media in Baltimore as a sports intern with CBS affiliate, WJZ Channel 13, and went on to work as a national feature reporter, podcast host and senior booking producer for the FOX News Channel. Her advisory experience includes strategic media placements, brand messaging, image enhancement and broadcast/digital content strategy.
Crystal has advised clients, including: The JR Smith Foundation in partnership with Porsche of New York;The Chris Samuels Foundation, Chris Samuels of the Washington Redskins; C Moore Speaks, Carla Moore, Forbes Author, Former VP of Sales Strategy, HBO; VinoPRO, Inc., CEO & Founder Jeff Stevenson; Tommy Polley Foundation, Tommy Polley Super Bowl Champion, Saint Louis Rams; and Profit for Haiti, LaRon Profit, Los Angeles Lakers.
Crystal is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, the Association of Women in Sports Media, and Christian Women in Media and served as a corporate representative for FOX News’ Diversity in Media Initiative from 2013-2016. Her accolades include winning the NAACP Freedom Fighter Award for her work in journalism & the community and being a Social Media Ambassador for the United Nations Foundation. She has also been a panelist at the Congressional Black Caucus’s Annual Legislative Conference, Diversity in Media and Film.
Crystal attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas, is a proud HBCU graduate and a Certified Image with IAP Career College.
Prior to her career in communications and media, Crystal was a high school English teacher, mentor and co- founder of a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the number of women and girls impacted by the HIV/AIDS epidemic regionally. In her free time, Crystal enjoys laughing, traveling, and inspiring others to live life with purpose.
